Meet OBS video recording and live streaming

Open Broadcaster Software is free and open source software not only function as Screen cast software (record computer screen output ) also known as a video screen capture containing audio narration, but as well as for live streaming software. in this article we show you how to install OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) on Ubuntu in this case i install latest OBS Studio version 0.15.2 (which just release few days ago) on Ubuntu 16.04 Xenial Xerus and these should work on Ubuntu derivatives Operating system.
install OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) on Ubuntu
OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) Supported Feature
- Encoding using H264 (x264) and AAC.
- Support for Intel Quick Sync Video (QSV) and NVENC.
- Unlimited number of scenes and sources.
- Live RTMP streaming to Twitch, YouTube, DailyMotion, Hitbox and more.
- File output to MP4 or FLV.
- GPU-based game capture for high performance game streaming.
- DirectShow capture device support (webcams, capture cards, etc).
- Windows 8 high speed monitor capture support.
- Bilinear or lanczos3 resampling.

OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) Installation
to install OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) required FFmpeg. Ubuntu 16.04 Xenial Xerus ffmpeg package default repositories seems to work. It means we not need to install package manually. If you're not sure, you can check FFmpeg version with the following commands:
ffmpeg -version
or, we could update ffmpeg package while installing OBS (Open Broadcaster Software).
open your terminal (ctrl + alt + t), and use these commands:
Adding latest stable release of OBS Studio PPA, ppa:obsproject/obs-studio
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:obsproject/obs-studio
Update Repository, install ffmpeg & latest stable obs-studio
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install ffmpeg
sudo apt-get install obs-studio

Uninstall OBS (Open Broadcaster Software)
to remove or uninstall OBS from your Ubuntu machine, use these command:

uninstall Obs studio
sudo apt-get purge obs-studio
remove OBS PPA
sudo add-apt-repository --remove ppa:obsproject/obs-studio
